Brief overview about Indian Stock Market

The Indian stock market is a platform where stocks of Indian companies are traded.

It consists of two major stock exchanges:-

  • The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE)
  • The National Stock Exchange (NSE)

Investors can buy and sell shares of publicly listed companies on these exchanges, which determines their prices. The stock market can offer opportunities for wealth creation, but also involves risks, and it is important for investors to educate themselves and make informed decisions. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) is the regulator of the Indian stock market.
